Adaptation of Antonio Skarmeta’s homonymous novel (winner of Planet Award). It’s a story about love, friendship and revenge that take place during the re-establishment of democracy in Chile, more precisely, the moment a general amnesty was decreed to all prisoners not charged with murder.
Despite that, Angel Santiago (Abel Ayala), a young and brave dreamer, decides to take revenge for the abuse suffered in jail: he plans an ambitious and risky robbery, but to carry it through, he needs the help of Nicolás Vergara Grey (Ricardo Darín), a famous bank robber that tries to rehab and get his family back. The plan complicates with the magical presence of Victoria (Miranda Bodenhofer), a mysterious young girl whose only way to express herself is dancing.
