Hugo is a good, honest and hardworking man. He has raised his son, teenager Franco, alone. Unemployed and with economic problems, Hugo accepts collaborating in his cousin Gloria’s crazy idea; an agency that promises to find “the love of your life” taking advantage of a market full of women and men that are looking for their perfect match.
Thus, Hugo becomes a chameleon, a man that changes his image and personality to be, at least for some hours, the dream of the agency’s customers. An ideal lover, until he reveals to them a defect that will put them off for good. This is how the plan of Gloria, the unscrupulous and funny driving force of everything, works. Despite the confidence she projects and the answers she has to everything, Gloria’s big Achilles heel is precisely love: for years she has been the lover of a married man, who promises he’ll leave everything for her, but does not plan on doing it. Overwhelmed by guilt, Hugo turns to Father Francisco, a priest that will become his confidant and spiritual support and who will, in addition, contribute with his acute sense of humour to the situations the main character goes through.
